Going for the Glow
How to make Sweet and Spicy Body Polish
1 tablespoon of Demerara sugar
1 tablespoon of golden brown sugar
1 tablespoon of super fine sugar
4 tablespoons of honey
2 teaspoons of lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
The body sheds up to 500 million dead skin cells daily from it's upper layer, the epidermis. If these cells remained, they would form a thick layer, locking OUT moisture and making the skin appear dull and flaky. Manual exfoliation helps the body slough off dead skin cells for a healthy, vibrant and stimulating glow.
As we age, dead cells take longer to rise to the top of the epidermis and then slough off, so exfoliation becomes increasingly important in self-care ritual.
If your skin is dry or sensitive do not continue to use if irritation occurs.
