It's Summer! Have you experienced a 1st degree burn?

Why: Too much sun exposure without the correct protection

What to do: immediately apply aloe care and cool cloths. Your body will feel sore and flu like without the head cold. Your skin in the burned area will feel hot and extremely sensitive to friction due to clothing and water (shower)

How to prevent: Wear protective clothing, if you feel the sun beaming down pick up a towel and cover your shoulders or legs. If you feel too hot, wet the towel and cool down while you protect.

Find the right SPF for your skin type. Always apply and then reapply. Learn how to read your sunscreen here www.americancancersociety.com (be especially aware of infants and children)

A wide brim hat and SPF Protective clothing are light and breathable. Bring some shade, a large umbrella or easy up will do.

HELP, I'm peeling.
You better believe it, your skin is actually following it's course to expose new skin! Help it along by keeping hydrated and moisturized. A light exfoliation in the shower is fine. Do not burn like this again, it increases mole,UN-wanted hyperpigmentation (dark spots) and skin cancer.

To keep you young a beautiful keep your skin healthy with A,C and E vitamins! Water is your best friend and so are water foods such as watermelon, berries, celery and lettuce.

Enjoy your summer!!
